The Ambassador's Visit to Indraprastha University

On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, His Excellency Ambassador Ahmedou Ould Ahmedou visited Indraprastha University in Delhi. He met with the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mahesh Verma, who outlined opportunities for international students and the facilities available for enrollment across the university’s twenty-two faculties. These faculties cover a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, the humanities, health sciences, and others. The university is one of India's prominent public institutions; it operates under the jurisdiction of the Delhi government and offers a diverse array of academic programs and scientific specializations.

Following the meeting, the Ambassador toured several university facilities accompanied by university officials. He also visited the Innovation and Incubation Center, which hosts startups and provides a conducive environment for incubating and developing their projects, helping them transition into the operational and active business phase.

The Ambassador was accompanied on this tour by Mr. Sid Mohamed Mahfoudh, a Counselor at the Embassy.
