The Embassy was established by Decree No. 144/2024, issued on July 2, 2024.
Preparatory work for its opening began shortly thereafter, leading to the gradual commencement of its operations in July 2025, once the full diplomatic and administrative staff had been appointed.
The Ambassador formally presented his credentials on October 3, 2025, marking the official launch of the Embassy’s activities and its full engagement in strengthening bilateral relations.
