Audience with the Secretary (Economic Relations) at MEA

His Excellency Mr. Ahmedou Ould Ahmedou was received on May 5, 2026, by Mr. Sudhakar Dalela, Secretary (Economic Relations) at the Ministry of External Affairs of India. He was accompanied by Mr. Sidi Mohamed Mahfoudh, Counselor at the Embassy.

During the meeting, both sides explored the promising prospects for strengthening bilateral relations, with a focus on leveraging opportunities across several strategic sectors, including mining, the pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, renewable energy, and other sectors.

In this context, the reciprocal establishment of embassies was highlighted as a key enabler for translating shared political will into tangible outcomes and for injecting renewed momentum into cooperation in support of mutual interests.
